Photoshop provides the opportunity to express your creative side through the editing of images using bitmap digital manipulation. We will be working in Adobe Photoshop in this unit. The possibilities are infinite when it comes to digital imaging. The variety of tools and controls that are used in photoshop make it possible to create images that you might otherwise see only in your wildest dreams.

 

We will discuss the use and availablilty of digital images on the internet for use in creating art through digital manipulation of found images. Reasources for images that may be used for this are shared on the internet in hte creative commons library.

There will be three sets of images created for this unit.

First is creation of a fantasy landscape by combining and filtering images.

Second is the creation of fantasy creatures, cloned from the images of different animals combined through the use of photoshop tools. 

Third will be created through the appropriation of images and art created by others.
