Digital Collage

Traditional Elements of art are used to analyse a work of art. These are line, shape, space, colour, value, form, and texture. These are the elements used to create a work of visual art. Principles of Design are used to arrange those elements in your compostion. Images frome these assignments will be uploaded to create this page

 

ASSIGNMENT 4: Using the internet discover a very cool work of Digital Art. Paste the image on your page and include information about the artwork, Title and description (artist, media or how it was made, and date. Complete the questions on the handout and add them to your page.

Add 3 more digital collages and identify them by title, artist, and media. Skills will be developed to copy cut, quick select, paste, blend, and adjust images on separate layers.

 

ASSIGNMENT 5: Create a slide show to demonstrate definition and examples of the seven elements of art. Include one image of a work of art that demonstrates each of the elements of art, identifying artist, title and date. Add a personally photoshopped image that uses filters to create an image to demonstrate each of those elements.

 

ASSIGNMENT 6: You will use Photoshop to create a Digital Collage of your own that uses the elements of art. Include a reflection with your digital collage.

 

Source images : Image search should be done through Creative Commons. Creative Commons is a search engine that provides access to shareable files. These are meant to be shared and used. Image files, videos and sound files are meant to be used and appropriated by artists.
